I was recently given the task of creating some images using Time as a theme. I chose to go along the path of adding words to the word time to create photo opportunities. I chose to use play time and nap time and decided on self portraits as it’s not something I’ve done much of before. I also used photoshop to apply an effect similar to that given by using a Lomo camera and added a distressed look and border. My images are attached below. Special thanks go to Nicky for giving me the project idea.

Decided to have a little play with astronomical photography tonight with the aid of my trusty 40D, 200mm lens, tripod and remote capture via my laptop. Our old friend the moon proved a worthy adversary but I managed to capture at least one image I’m happy with. I must confess to a little photoshop tweaking and a closer crop to better fill the frame.
I will definitely be giving this another go after I’ve done a bit more research into techniques. Next time I’m also going to try for a crescent moon as the shadows make for a much more dramatic photograph.

Over the weekend I attended a paintball game run by my team. I have put up the shots I managed to capture throught out the day on the Gallery. All taken on my EOS 40D and tweaked/cropped in Photoshop.
